Disney Cruise Line has joined the Walt Disney World Resort in its efforts to study and protect marine life through the Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund, a global awards program. Disney Cruise Line's shoreside cast and shipboard crew have long recognized the value and the beauty of the ocean as an environment where we are all guests.
The Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund allows guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, The Living Seas at Epcot, Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and now the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships to support meaningful projects conducted by respected nonprofit conservation and wildlife organizations. Last year, guest contributions combined with support from Disney made more than $1 million in conservation projects--including studies of dolphins, coral reefs and endangered sea turtles--possible.
