Fly the friendly skies: In a poll of airlines taken by nearly 20,000 people, the Zagat Survey found that there are a few good blips on the radar screen. At the top of the list of 22 domestic airlines ranked for treatment of economy-class passengers were Midwest Express, JetBlue, Alaska, Midway and National Airlines. Midwest Express had the highest marks for comfort, service and food.

Price your own tour: PerryGolf, one of the biggest golf-tour operators, has a new feature on its website, www.perrygolf.com, that allows you to customize a trip to Britain. You pick the courses you want to play, where you want to stay, and for how long. It then gives you Perry's price to make it happen.

Grand opening: In the shadows of Colorado National Monument near the city of Grand Junction is architect Jim Engh's newest course--The Golf Club at Redlands Mesa.
