Time to dust off those mouse ears. Walt Disney World is having a sale and it's a decent one at that. Travel this spring and you can save $25 to $100 a night on select on-property hotel accommodations.

And while you're there you can check out the new parades and attractions that are part of the 100 Years of Magic Celebration in honor of Walt Disney's 100th birthday, which was in December.

Stay at a value property, such as Disney's All-Star Resorts from $74 a night; at a moderate property (Disney's Coronado Springs from $94 a night); or a deluxe property, including Disney's Contemporary Resort from $139 a night. All include complimentary transportation throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

If you're thinking about sharing a room with friends, be aware there is an extra charge if more than two adults (18 and up) share a room. The booking deadline for the sale rates is March 17, and they are valid for travel between April 21 and June 22. The prices are subject to availability and some blackout dates apply.

Discounts are also available on select theme park tickets. For reservations, call (407) 939-7867; or visit www.disneyworld.com.

With Walt Disney World reducing its rates, so have tour operators, including US Airways Vacations, which is offering savings of up to 25 percent on its Walt Disney World air-inclusive packages. The same booking and travel dates apply as above.

The packages include round-trip air fare on US Airways, accommodations and a rental car with an upgrade to a four-door compact with unlimited mileage. Plus, you get Disney's Ultimate Park Hopper ticket, allowing admission into all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, and lunch at Planet Hollywood with VIP seating.

Sample sales prices for three-night vacations from Boston: $617 a person, with accommodations at Disney's All-Star Resorts; $646 with accommodations at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort; $722 with accommodations at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort; and $747 with accommodations at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

The lowest rates are for departures on Mondays and Tuesdays. Contact www.usairwaysvacations, or 800-422-3861.

New additions in honor of the 100th anniversary celebration include a 120-foot giant blue Sorcerer's hat towering over Hollywood Boulevard at Disney-MGM Studios. Also at Disney-MGM, you can now participate in a version of the TV show "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire" (you can't win a million dollars but there are prizes offered).

At Magic Kingdom, check out the new Magic Carpets of Alladin fly- around ride complete with water-spewing camels.
