Aside from "Vintage Mickey," these are all TV shows that are new to DVD this week.

-- "Vintage Mickey" (Disney, 1928-34, not rated, b/w, $19.99). As the title suggests, these are nine of the earliest black-and-white Mickey Mouse cartoons, including "Steamboat Willie," "Plane Crazy," the Oscar-nominated "Mickey's Orphans" and "Building a Building." Great fun, though this early Mickey is a bit more aggressive than we've become used to, much less benign than he later became.

Extras: Full frame, nine cartoons, trailers, optional English subtitles, chapters.

-- "The Best of the Mickey Mouse Club" (Disney, 1957-64, not rated, b/w, $19.99). This disc has five black-and-white half-hour episodes of the original daily "Mickey Mouse Club" show, two from 1957 and three from the early '60s. Jimmy, Roy, Annette, Darlene, Cubby and the entire gang are here, with an episode of "The Hardy Boys," some cartoons, musical numbers, etc. Great fun for nostalgic baby-boomers.

Extras: Full frame, excerpts from five episodes, trailers, optional English subtitles, chapters.

-- "Mickey Mouse Club: The Best of Britney, Justin & Christina" (Disney, 1993, not rated, $14.99). Taking advantage of the popularity of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, this collection of four complete episodes from Season 6 of the 1990s revival of the "Mickey Mouse Club" -- nicknamed MMC -- features profiles of each of these three "new" Mousketeers (they came aboard for the final two seasons), and one concert showcase for Aguilera.

Extras: Full frame, four episodes, trailers, optional English subtitles, chapters.

-- "Monk: The Complete Third Season" (Universal, 2004-2005, not rated, $59.98, four discs). Halfway through this season, Bitty Schram as Sharona departs (reportedly over money), and Monk has to hire a new assistant. There are some great episodes here, with some hysterical moments as ultra-phobic Monk (Tony Shalhoub, who remains brilliant) solves crimes and tries not to touch anything.

Extras: Widescreen,16 episodes, making-of featurettes, interviews, subtitle options (English, Spanish), chapters.

-- "La Femme Nikita: The Complete Third Season" (Warner, 1998- 99, not rated, $99.98, six discs). In this third season, Peta Wilson returns as a woman taken from the streets and trained to be a spy without emotions -- but, of course, she does things her own way. The box boasts that the show is from the creators of "24," but it more specifically resembles "Alias," without the weirdness and with more of an edge. It's dark, but it's also often quite thrilling.

Extras: Full frame, 22 episodes, audio commentary (on first and last episodes), deleted scenes, making-of featurette, bloopers, subtitle options (English, French, Spanish), chapters.

-- "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys: Season Six" (Anchor Bay, 1999, not rated, $39.98, five discs). Kevin Sorbo and cohorts battle everything from Amazons to vampires in this final season of the "Hercules" series, a cartoonish action/magic effort laced with goofy humor.

Extras: Full frame, eight episodes, audio commentaries, interviews, making-of featurettes, photo gallery, wrap party footage, alternate main titles, chapters, CD-Rom applications.

-- "Tales From the Crypt: The Complete First Season" (Warner, 1989, not rated, $26.98, two discs). Think of this as HBO's answer to the old Alfred Hitchcock TV series, anthology horror yarns with twist endings, amped up with R-rated violence, gore, language and nudity. The stories are predictably hit and miss, with Lea Thompson, Amanda Plummer and other familiar faces.

Extras: Full frame, six episodes, new introduction, making-of featurettes, subtitle options (English, French, Spanish), chapters.

-- "Titus: Seasons 1 & 2" (Anchor Bay, 2000-02, not rated, $44.98, six discs). Christopher Titus is a virtual one-man band: He created, wrote and starred in this season-and-a-half sitcom about the ultimate dysfunctional family (although "Arrested Development" fans might argue). And it's at least partly autobiographical. Titus' abusive, alcoholic father is played by Stacy Keach, and guest stars include David Hyde Pierce, Jay Leno and others.

Extras: Full frame, 33 episodes, audio commentaries, new interviews, rehearsal footage, promos, eight-page "journal" by Titus, chapters.
